My fiance and I are DIY our own favors. We are making gel candles in sqaure votives. The gel will be a chartreuse green and will most likely have some embeds as well (still looking for those).
I want to place the votives into clear favor boxes and then have them packaged with black favor wrapping. I’m not certain where to go from here though. I would like to wrap the black box in maybe some white tulle? But I had also planned to place our circle monogram sticker on the box.
Do you think I should place the sticker on the top of the inner clear box and then tie the black box with white tulle or ribbon?
My other concern is that I’d love to incorporate our honeymoon destination into the favors somehow. We’re leaving for Jamaica after the wedding, and our wedding colors are black, white, and a sort of citron green. Do you think this is wise to do? How could I do this without throwing off the wedding scheme?

Just wondering if it really matters that the ribbon is the pre-printed one with the bride & groom’s name and wedding date on it.
I was thinking I could get plenty of ribbon for 99-cents a spool (in our wedding colors) and just add a tag that says:
Thank you for sharing our day
Name & Name
date
I’m crafty and could print them on my computer on nice thick paper and fancy up the edges with craft punches, decorate with a stamp (rubber stamp & ink, not stickers).
At nearly per spool plus shipping, I just think that the price tag is outrageous for the ribbon printed with our name & date.
Our favors are meant to be opened up as there will be some candy inside, so I can’t imagine anyone really caring about the ribbon.

I wanted to have a glass type wedding favor, so I was thinking of taking empty baby food jars and decorating them with ribbon or something, and putting candy in them. Then on the top I would put a circle sticker over it with our names or something on it. I just can’t afford to pay almost 0 for glass wedding favor jars from online companies and I sure can’t justify either. So would that look weird or awkward for someone. here is the theme I am trying to go for-click the link.

My husband and I are throwing a wedding shower for very good friends of ours and I am working on favors right now. The shower is keeping with their wedding colors, black, white, and red. So I am making black pillow boxes that will be tied with black and white ribbon and a red sticker with their monogram on it. I am wanting to fill them with small things that represent the couple. So far I have chocolates filled with Kahlua (to represent their mutual love of coffee and chocolate) and two small square marble magnets that are of dogs (to represent their love of dogs). There will also be a small card inside stating what each item is for. I would like to include one or possibly two other small items but I am having trouble coming up with ideas. I don’t want to do anything that will end up in the trash immediately.
Things they like:
mixed drinks, gardening, cooking, wine, and traveling.
*I know that favors are not necessary or expected, it’s just a little something that I am doing to finish off and round out the party.

My future MIL is hispanic and to incorporate part of her culture we are go to do homemade mexican wedding cookies as favors that will double as place cards.
I need to find somewhat affordable boxes to put these in. My colors are orange and white, so a small box with a ribbon would be great, I would also like some sort of monogram tag or sticker.
