I am buying a kit from staples.com. It’s going to cost me $32.99 for 50 invitation with RSVPs and envelopes, but it is exactly what my fiance and I want and fits our theme perfectly. Be ware, some DIY kits look as cheap as they are! Make sure they are good quality first! I would just do them myself! Why pay extra for something as easy to do as the invitations? I mean after all, we all know you have access to a computer if you posted the question!!! So spend a Saturday and make them yourself!

This is exactly what I did from my invitations. I paid the printer $75 to print 150 sets of invitations, response cards, and direction cards on invitations I bought as a set. I had planned on printing them myself, but I found that to be too time consuming and too much of a hassle. Paying the $75 gave me a much higher quality product, as well as a professional look. It also saved me a lot of stress!

You know – if you have the right person doing them – they won’t charge you anything but for the materials. That’s what I do for everyone I print invites for. The whole point for me is to do something special for the couple that will help them get off to a good financial start. Saving money and having classy invitations is a no brainer! A person who really cares is who you need for this task anyway because if you just pay somebody whatever and they don’t care much – they won’t care much how the invitations are done. Just because they are printed on a home based printer doesn’t mean they have to look cheap and junky but that’s what you may end up with. So if you don’t have a really tech saavy person who cares about you immensely – just do them yourself. I did and it was awesome!
