‘Badges, Posters, Stickers and T-shirts’ appears on the US released ‘ExtendedancEPlay’ and the B-side of ‘Private investigations’ from Love over gold. A pretty uncharacteristic Dire Straits’ song like all the others from ‘ExtendedancEPlay’. Enjoy!

I had this song a long time ago and I had forgotten about it till recently when I acquired it. It’s like an impromptu recording of a jam session. The words always make me laugh. It seems like it’s Mark’s way of making fun of the guys that try and relate to the band.

strange song, but one of their best.

i love the line about ACDC being greasy noise makers.

I love the whole thing thou… he rules.

Makes the guitarist from Stray Cats sound like an amateur in less than 30 seconds.

Well, don’t misunderstand me….bout what I’m gonna say….cause I’m a die hard fan of Mark for 25 years…. But honestly, Brian Setzer, in terms of Boogie & Ragtime picking, is a million miles away from Mark. No comparison possible.

This is MK doing a Leeds accent imo- which is where he went to uni and worked on Yorkshire Evening Post for a while. He worked places like The Fenton during that time and It was and still is full of fans of new stuff, and they always ask for badges, posters, stickers and t-shirts
